Peer Pressure

Peer Pressure

Peer pressure is always a hard thing to overcome. Peers want the best gadget and the most high-tech things to keep up with others and to stand out. This is why technical companies like Apple invent new software’s and phones, apps, gadgets to give peers the urge to get the newest best thing out there and this will not change. This is how companies like Apple get so much income and through the usage of advertising which draws them gives them all their money and as the gadgets have high prices gives these company’s a fortune every week, month and year. Also because of peer pressure, it may force teens to revert to stealing gadgets to keep up with their friends. That’s how serious peer pressure is and especially around Christmas when all the technical gifts and gadgets are given. Peer pressure will never stop. Ever.

Different Types Of Advertising

Advertising

Advertising is expanding everywhere you go in all types of technology whether it’s on Facebook, or on Google. TV or Radio. Adverts are on everything. Everywhere you go you will be confronted with an advert and that is how these websites and publishers get their money as they gain there profit through advertising companies. Advertising has been around for years. It was one of the oldest ways and best ways to sell products and through the years it has expanded. Nowadays you don’t just see advertising on paper you can also see it via: Internet, social networking sites, radio, TV, billboards, paper, games and DVDs.

Now TV has come along with its many channels advertises also pay TV shows to give up a bit of their show on the TV for advertises to try and persuade the public to buy the things they are advertising. Also advertises are smart as they don't want to waste money on selling a product to the wrong audience. Take car insurance, an advert wouldn't be seen on a kids TV show like Cbeebies. On a TV show like Cbeebies you would get adverts for toys and things like that to get children on hitched to a certain toy and make mums and dads go out to buy the advertised toy for them.

The changing 3D Cinema

3D cinemas are now becoming more and more popular. Almost every new cinema in the world has the option of seeing things like there right next to you. This gives the audience a real experience and when it was first invented in 1915 and publically used in 1950 as it is becoming more and more public and commonly used now. As technology advances we are now getting 3D TVs where you can benefit from the home experience with surround sound. However still you have to were the 3D glasses but now they
are also researching virtual cinema without the annoying 3D glasses.

However these 3D glasses are becoming more technical and advanced as they have built in sound and a smaller thinner and lighter style to them so it is the most comfortable and real experience.

How TV has changed

The Advancing TV and Cable

TV and cable are evolving. We now have plasmas that take up half the space as a normal TV. We have cable TV that upgrades signal and channels so you can get the best out of your TV. Like I said it’s evolving. These new plasmas, they are now smart giving the ability to watch TV in HD or in 3D and basically use it as a laptop. Also cable, which gives you the ability to add more channels and have better quality TV. TV has come on massively since when it was first invented in 1873 when it was black and white and now when we have the 40 inch plasma TV in full colour in our living rooms. The first coloured television was made by a German research company called RCA, between 1946-1950 and was a huge monitor and a tiny screen. Now look at the world’s television. That shows the technology that has come into our world in the past years and shows the potential that we have for the future.

Impacts of social networking

The Impacts of Social Networking

The effects of social networking sites are now addictive. Thousands of thousands of people rely on these networks for business debates/meetings or the public just for a general chat.
Over 1 billion and still growing people are signed up to Facebook and those people will most probably be lost without it which makes it such a hotspot for advertisement. As a result of this, businesses pay thousands to advertise on Facebook to the 1 billion people who are signed up to Facebook which which makes Mark Zuckerberg a billionaire. The youngest one in the world.
